While it’s no longer in use, this is the fountain at the Jefferson Hall branch of the New York Public Library, which is one of my favorite branches not to mention buildings in the city.

If you haven’t checked out the Jefferson Market branch, put it on your To Visit list.

This may be one of the one re-purposings of a church that sits well with me. What do you think? Should a church be razed or repurposed? And if repurposed, does it matter as what?

Love this building! It’s stunning from all angles. It caught my attention from a distance on Centre Street in downtown Manhattan. I was walking down for the wine tasting that also clued me in to the Disintegrating Creation image when the original Police Department turned coop caught my attention.
