Every morning (and probably every night, though I’m too tired to notice) I pass this bike. And while I don’t have a bike, I think this might be one of the coolest bikes in the city. But I don’t have much to judge by … except all the other bikes I walk past. None of which, okay maybe one or two sweet-ass Raleighs, are nearly as sweet as this bike.

So, I took its picture. Don’t you totally agree it deserved it? Yeah, I thought so, too.

I love my neighborhood. I love walking to work, walking home, walking just about everywhere. Yesterday I walked through the park on my way home, and the enclave of lush life in my rough-around-the-edges neighborhood took my breath away.

Alien Invades the Mop, originally uploaded by mebore.photography.

It’s about time, right? Well, I started this blog right before I went to Arizona, which was right before I moved, which was right before … well, you get the idea. I wasn’t exactly thinking, but I’m excited to take the project back on.

May Day! May Day! Let’s get this show on the road.

As the caption reads, walking down 10th Street one morning on my walk to work, this mop caught my attention as some X-Files-esque alien come to spy on us in an all-too-familiar shape. Call me crazy … or blame my Netflix subscription that has me watching X-Files before going to bed … yeah, call me crazy.
