So far my attempts at blogging have waxed and waned, probably like many of your own. One constant in my life, however, has been photography. I have loved photography as long as I can remember. My father came home with a camera and a tripod for me when I was about 11 or 12, and I remember wondering what in the world I was going to do with that. But now, I won’t mention how many years later, I think it’s one of the nicest gifts he’s ever given me.
Last year I took some amazing trips, but I came home to New York city wondering why I rarely photograph my home, which is one of the most amazing places in all the world. People love to visit here, love to take pictures here, love … well … my home. And so do I, and so this blog isn’t just about abandoning myself to my love of photography on the road or at someone’s birthday party, but about daily life. The little things I’m always talking about celebrating. Now, it’s time to carry my camera, capture snippets of life, and hope you enjoy them!
